"Community service is extremely important to our football program, and we were searching for ways to get more involved in the Drake Neighborhood and the city of Des Moines. Travis and The IOWA Foundation were a huge help in getting back into our routine of giving and serving others."
"The IOWA Foundation creates a more resilient, caring, and connected community. For example, at the start of this school year Travis and his team provided a ton of school supplies and shoes for disadvantaged kids we work with. This helped these kids feel prepared and excited for school, setting them up for a more successful experience. Their generosity promotes confidence, resilience, a sense of belonging, and higher educational achievement. The IOWA Foundation is a wonderful partner in impact – we are incredibly grateful for their inspiring work!"
"Travis and The IOWA Foundation do a great job connecting athletes to the youth and causes in our community where they can have a lasting impact. We partnered with the foundation to bring some of our participants to a basketball camp that they hosted with Iowa State athletes, and not only did the participants have a great time, but they talked about their experience getting to meet these athletes for weeks! The IOWA Foundation will continue to make an impact as they make college athletics accessible for all youth regardless of background."
“The IOWA Foundation strengthens our community partnership with Drake University by connecting student athletes to classrooms as volunteers. This partnership shows our 1st grade scholars that they’re learning and growing each day and someday may end up in college like their Drake friends.”
"The IOWA Foundation fundraised $3,000 to provide scholarships for youth to attend our Rally for Reid football camp with former University of Iowa football players/current NFL players. In addition to their fundraising efforts, Travis volunteered his time throughout the day to help make sure everything ran smoothly, and was a great addition to the our team. He is already working to plan for scholarships for next year for youth, which, in addition, helps us raise funds for pediatric cancer families! We are proud to know Travis and The IOWA Foundation!"
"We partnered with Travis and The IOWA Foundation to start a reading program with our Drake football team and DMPS schools. Travis was instrumental in organizing, connecting and putting together the program for us, all we did was supply the guys. We had been trying to do this with the team, but just did not have the time or connections to get it done, so if we hadn’t partnered with Travis, we never would have been able to have our guys read and impact youth in DMPS. I couldn’t recommend Travis and his organization enough, he is making a tremendous impact in the community and we really loved partnering with him!"
"Travis and The IOWA Foundation are bridge builders! They have the ability to connect athletes and organization all for the betterment of youth in Iowa."
"Kirkwood Elementary really appreciated the school supplies, backpacks, and books from The Iowa Foundation. Many of our families are not able to afford buying new back to school items each year. It was great to be able to provide these new items to students in need of them at the beginning of the school year and to new students as they arrive throughout the year."
“The IOWA Foundation is a great asset for community building! We’ve talked to them about work to connect athletes to organizations and kids and the city-at-large. It’s a small building block that makes a big difference.”
"The IOWA Foundation helped our youth baseball program with baseball pants for all players. They helped eliminate some cost for kids who were interested in playing but also held an event that helped spark some interest of kids as well. The IOWA Foundation has always been willing to help us out and stays in contact with us to see what else we may need help with."
